自动档车型的档位通常包括泊车档（P）、倒车档（R）、空档（N）、前进档（D）和低速行进档（3）。其中，泊车档用于停车时关闭发动机或长时间怠速停车；倒车档用于倒车；空档可以在短暂停车时使用；前进档通过自动切换1至5档来根据速度和油门情况进行调整；低速行进档在交通不太通畅的情况下作为限制档使用，避免了3档和4、5两档之间的跳档情况。此外，湿滑路面上起步时可以选择湿路起步档（2），该档位下发动机保持较高转速，以增加车辆的动力输出；而爬山需求时可以选择爬山档（1），该档位下车辆保持一档不动。某些自动档车辆还可能拥有S、L、OD OFF等按键功能。其中，S表示运动模式，在该模式下允许自由换档但延迟换档时机来保持发动机高转速；L表示低速档，与新雅阁的1档功能相同；OD OFF按键禁止最高档位（4档），通常与D3档位同时存在；若没有D3，则说明该车为带S模式的自动档。需要注意的是，在一些车型中，2档并不指单独的2档，而是1至2档之间的自动切换。手自一体的变速箱通常只有一个前进档（D），其他功能可以通过手动模式来实现。【译文】Automatic transmission of a vehicle usually includes parking gear (P), reverse gear (R), neutral gear (N), forward gear (D) and low-speed travel gear (3). The parking gear is used for parking while engine off or for prolonged idling; reverse gear is used for reversing; neutral gear can be used for brief stops; forward gear adjusts between first to fifth gears according to speed and throttle input; low-speed travel gear can be used for driving at low speeds without jumping into higher gears. Additionally, some vehicles may have wet traction start gear (2), which allows higher engine speed during start-up on wet surfaces or slow driving.
