To add a helper column in
excel 2010 English version, place your cursor in cell C1 and click on "Define Name". In the "Name" field, enter a descriptive name such as "Color". In the "Refer to" field, enter the formula: =GET.CELL(63,Sheet1!A1). Click on "OK".You will notice that cell C1 displays "6", as yellow corresponds to this value.As you drag this formula down, cell C2 will display "33", as blue corresponds to this value.In cell E15, also enter the formula =COLOR.Finally, in cell D15, enter the formula =SUMIF($C$1:$C$10,E15,$B$1:$B$10).And you are done!
